Clarity is Vancouver's first original punk Celtic harpist!
Raised by a choral singer and a coffeeshop guitar player, her musical tastes run from early music to traditional Celtic tunes to Marilyn Manson and classic rock, all of which she performs on the Celtic harp.
Clarity also loves to sing...and snap or clap or soundboard hammer if she's in the mood.
Her debut performance ? Clarity Arises! ? was held in 2008 at Christ Church Cathedral, and her show Clarity: Borderline debuted at Vancouver's Fringe Festival in 2009. She is currently finishing work on her first EP, Secret Place, and has begun work on a full-length album of original material called Breathe, which she hopes will be out in the summer of 2010.
She has also written a fictional autobiography called Seeking Clarity: A Spiritual (b)Log which she plans to make available the following autumn. |
